Currently a Director for LandingNet Ltd - an online digital agency - specialising in web based application development, website creation and online marketing. With this has come full experience of working as part of a team, working under own initiative, effective time management, and the ability to multitask under pressure.

Being logically and analytically minded, I have developed a skill set to deliver a solution to fit a customers needs, on time and within budget.

Helped raise £6000 (circa) as part of a team for Sue's Place, a charity for children suffering from bereavement, by doing a solo skydive in pyjamas with the Red Devils. 2005.

Helped raise £8000 as part of a team for REACH, a charity that helps countries in state of drought, by doing a Tandem Skydive with the Red Devils. 2004.

Director for leading local Online Digital Agency jointly responsible in all aspects of running the business, including administration, sales, product development, marketing and finance. Requiring robust planning and time management skills, along with those required to get the project delivered within a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Project management to ensure client deliverables are launched on time and within budget.

  • Ensuring projects pass quality assurance by conforming to W3C Specifications and to have an aim of being 100% bug-free.

  • Lead front-end developer with excellent (x)HTML and CSS skills.

  • Relational database designer, primarily focused towards MySQL.

  • Knowledge in PHP in both Procedural (strong) and OOP (intermediate) methodologies to provide support to other members on the team.

  • Account management to keep in touch with the current client base to maintain relationships and identify additional needs.

  • Keeping up to date with current technologies and standards by subscribing to authoritative magazines and making use of Social Media

Search Engine Marketing Specialist

Solely responsible for external clients Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing campaigns spread across the three major search engines (Google, Yahoo, and Live - now Bing). Managing an annual budget in excess of £360,000, strong analytical skills are required to ensure accounts are optimised to the highest possible degree to ensure the best value is obtained from clicks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating new PPC accounts targeting keywords directly relating to the customers business.

  • Analysing raw data from Google, Yahoo and Live and optimising campaigns accordingly to ensure the cheapest clicks are obtained from the budget.

  • Liasing with customers directly to advise on on-site optimisation.

  • Producing weekly and monthly performance and financial reports

  • Having a strong understanding of SEO to ensure organic listings complement those that are paid.

Due to the charity skydive in 2004, this has now made me into a keen solo skydiver as it is interesting to learn how far you can push yourself whilst learning something new on every jump. I am also an active member of a car club at officer level and maintain the club website.
